Composure Events, known in the industry as Composure is an Award-Winning Modern-Contemporary Wedding Planning and Design company based in Kansas City specialising in signature high-end, uniquely stunning wedding experiences and destination weddings.
Cori founded Composure following a life spend 'behind the scenes' for hundreds of global events worldwide. These lessons and experiences, complemented by design sensibilities from time living in Italy and England for the unique brand of Composure.
Even with hundreds of events behind her, she still approaches each client with a fresh passion and enthusiasm. Being part of your story in this small way makes her own so much better. In addition to Wedding Planner & Entrepreneur, Cori holds the roles of wife to a british entrepreneur and mother to two incredible boss boys.

Behind the scenes is a team that crafts and coordinates each event and experience with obsessive care and thought to pull off smooth and impactful memories that last a lifetime. We work exclusively with vendors and venues who share our obsessive passion and unrivalled attention to detail. Each of our team prioritises in caring for our clients and and ensuring the event is created for them - and not the other way around.
Sarah - Lead Planner
Sarah joined Composure after leaving an impressive career in Venue Management. She's known for being the life of the party, and now she's an expert on throwing the best of them.
Claire - Lead Planner
Following years in the non-profit events industry, Claire joined Composure in 2018 after getting married herself and realising she wanted to mix her event planning skills with the joy of planning a wedding (and party) for others. Clients love her attention to detail and administrative talent. She always has a smile on.
Genevieve - Assistant Planner
Genevieve join Composure after graduating with a BA in Business and Communication. She worked alongside a major events company in Kansas City in 2022, and transitioned into wedding planning with Composure in the summer of 2023. She is genuine, thoughtful and diligent in all she does.
